Small businesses are the backbone of any country! They create jobs, goods, and services that enhance our standard of living. But small business owners can't do it alone- they need marketing support to grow their company and create brand awareness and brand loyalty. The importance of marketing cannot be overstated as it will help promote their company and attract potential customers who may not yet know about them. Emphasis on marketing in this global economy can mean the difference between success or failure, and as such, all small business owners must have a marketing budget. Traditional forms of marketing such as TV and print media may work; however, social media marketing has proven to be more effective in this technologically driven era. Social media marketing is more cost-effective, has greater reach, and creates real-time interaction with customers and potential customers. Modern marketing is all about leveraging the power of technology to get your message out there. Traditional forms of advertising like TV and print media may work, but social media has proven time and again that it can be an incredibly effective way to build a brand and drive sales. Social media marketing is more cost-effective than traditional methods because you're able to reach so many people with relatively little effort (in comparison).
